Abstract

The article presents a simulation research of effects on parliamentary representation, as a result of the modification of four variables that influence the allocation of seats: the methods of awarding seats (D'Hondt and Andrae and Hare quotient complemented by greater rest) , the multiple simultaneous vote, the nationwide calculation of the votes cast in favor of the slogans (parties) for the distribution of deputy seats and the en bloc vote in the election of the Chamber of Senators (election by different rules of the president of the body on one side and the other thirty members on the other). The proportionality of the different combinations is measured according to the Loosemore & Hanby index. The results are presented in absolute values, in percentages and in proportionality indicators.
