Ideological matrices and political discourse: the problem of hegemony

To speak of ideological matrices in reference to the current political discourse in a given society implies clarifying at least three groups of problems.

In the first place, it forces us to elucidate what meaning and scope is given to the term "ideological matrix" as well as to state the level of abstraction with which work will be based on this concept. (...)
