Abstract

This article seeks to understand the collective action around disability in Uruguay, based on two main issues I) Political and social representation, that is, the models of social representation of disability assumed by collective actors to study the issue. II) Collective action, through the analysis of the configuration of the actors and the establishment of certain organizational formats. At the same time, it is intended to make a contribution from the Political Science point of view, a discipline that has not yet pronounced on the issue at national and regional level.
