    Senior Researcher of CONICET, Professor Emeritus of FLACSO Argentina, where he founded and directs the Master's in Political Science & Sociology. Doctor in Political Science (University of California, Berkeley) under the direction of Sheldon Wolin and Hanna Fenichel Pitkin. Founder of the Political Science Course at the UBA (1984). Professor at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the UBA, at the University of San Andrés and at the Foreign Service Institute. Konex Prize for Platinum in Political Science 1996. Author of several books, among others: The scientific reason in politics and sociology, Philosophy of political and social science, The political order and democracy, For a theory of possible democracy, Democracy & inequality, Life in contemporary society. A political look, The democratic reason and its experience.
